Ukraine hit by massive Russian drone and missile attack

Ukraine Air Force says Russia started by firing one of the largest air strikes in Ukraine in 2025 in 2025 by firing 574 drones and 40 missiles.

One night, the attack said that it often targets the western regions of the country.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said Russia hit the “Great American electronic manufacturer” without giving further details in Western Ukraine.

The western parts of Ukraine are far from the front and south of the battlefield.

It is believed that most of the military aid provided by the Western allies of Ukraine has been moved and hidden there.

According to official figures, Russia was the third largest air attack in 2025 in terms of the number of drones and the eighth largest missile.

The strikes occurred in an effort to reach a peace agreement in a three -year war after Russia occupied its neighbor.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy condemned the attack, saying that “as if nothing has changed”.

Moscow did not show significant negotiations to end the war, and called for the international community to respond with stronger pressures, including harsh sanctions and tariffs.

Russia said, “A few cruise missiles against an American business,” he said, a regular civil initiative that produces domestic public services such as coffee machines.

“And that’s a target for Russia. It tells a lot.”

Previously, Zelenskiy said that Ukraine’s allies will hold intensive meetings to see what kind of security guarantees they are willing to guarantee the security guarantees after receiving signals that the US will revive the discussions that want to end the war.

Details are beaten between national security consultants and military authorities, and Zelenskiy thinks that they will take a clearer shape in 10 days.

Later, for the first time since the full -scale invasion, Russian President Vladimir Putin expects to be ready to have direct talks.

Zelenskiy said that negotiations could be held in a three -sided format with US President Donald Trump.

“We want to understand the security guarantee architecture within seven to 10 days. Based on this understanding, we aim to hold a triple meeting. This was my logic, Z Zelenskyy said to journalists on Wednesday after his trip to Washington with the best leaders in Europe.

Zelenskiy, “President Trump proposed a slightly different logic: a triple meeting at a dual meeting.” He said.

“But then all of us have accepted that we continue to work on security guarantees by creating this approximate framework, similar to Article 5, and that we have political support for this.”

Article 5 is a common defense guarantee that NATO is considered an attack on all of the attack on a member.

Zelenskiy said that a place for the meeting was discussed as possibilities with Switzerland, Austria and Türkiye.

Kiev still has no clarity of what kind of support he can expect from allies.

A coalition of more than 30 countries promised to contribute to security guarantees in principle, but when the United States was undecided about the role, negotiations stopped.

According to the State News Agency Ria Novosti, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that it would not work on the security arrangements in Ukraine without Moscow’s participation.

“We cannot accept the fact that it is proposed to solve collective security problems without the Russian Federation without the Russian Federation. This will not work. Russia’s interests are not exaggerated, but we will provide our legitimate interests in a solid and hard way.” He said.
