Animal lovers have been left devastated after hearing the heartbreaking story of an “unwanted” dog no one wants to rehome. The RSPCA recently unveiled Enzo, one of the charity’s longest-lived dogs in a shelter in a corner of the UK, and he’s winning hearts across the country.
Since her story was shared, countless people have been left heartbroken, struggling to understand how she remained isolated for so long, and the story has resonated deeply with animal lovers across the country. He reportedly spent 200 days watching other animals find loving homes and families while he was left alone with no one to care for or care for him.
This isn’t the only story of its kind to emerge recently, either. Pet lovers have also previously been informed about Britain’s loneliest dog.
The RSPCA wrote on Instagram: “200 days have passed and no one has picked Enzo. He is now one of @rspca_southridge’s longest staying dogs and has patiently waited for other dogs to find their families.”
“He absolutely adores people and nothing makes his tail wag like a good tennis ball. He’s dog-friendly but loves to play and needs some guidance around boundaries, so he’s better suited to a one-dog home.”
