Urgent appeal to trace woman missing in Cowley after walking her Chihuahua

Police have issued an urgent appeal to track down a missing woman who disappeared while walking with her Chihuahua.
Melissa, 51, disappeared after being last seen in Cowley, Oxfordshire, at around 8pm on Tuesday. Police said she was missing along with her small brown Chihuahua, who was wearing a harness.
He was described as 6 feet tall with black hair, and officers said he may have been wearing glasses. Thames Valley Police said he usually wore a black, waterproof jacket and trousers.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with information about his whereabouts or welfare to contact urgently.
Dozens of concerned neighbors and friends commented on the force’s social media post and shared their concerns. The post was shared nearly 600 times.
Thames Valley Police said: “Melissa was last seen in Cowley at around 8pm on October 7. “Melissa is 1.70m tall and has black hair, may or may not be wearing glasses. “Melissa usually wears a black waterproof jacket and trousers and is missing with a small brown Chihuahua dog in a harness.
