Urgent children’s clothing recall due to ‘strangulation’ risk in range sold at Next and Matalan

Two big street chains had to remember the popular elements of children’s clothes through the “Risk of drowning”.

Both Next and Matteland, both of which sold Miss Summer clothing range for very long decorative cords published notifications.

A product recall notification explains: “The product offers risks to suffocation and suffocation because they have decorative tensile cables that exceed the maximum length allowed.

A statement said: “Since the above elements did not meet strict technical characteristics, Miss took the recall measures and asked you to return your affected product immediately for a complete repayment.

“If you have given this item as a gift, please ask the buyer to contact the possible as soon as possible.

Matalan has published a similar recall of clothes sold in stores between 11 April and 2 June.

The notification says: “Product owners should stop their use immediately and return to the kidnapping for a complete repayment.

The clothes were removed from both websites and error messages were shown when a customer tried to click the links for purchasing.

Printed Boho Summer dresses include a knitted top, shorts and headband sets and a printed road summer dress.

Product Safety and Standards Office said: “The product has been recalled from end users by Next and Matalan. The owners of the product should immediately leave the use and return the product for a complete repayment.”
