Urgent recall issued for 64 products – including five sold at Aldi | US | News

Five of the recalled products come from supermarket Aldi, and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued the first notice on April 20.

The Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) later issued its own public health alert for powdered milk on April 30.

Products are manufactured by California Dairies, Inc. It is manufactured and distributed by and sold throughout the USA.

The initial recall involved frozen pizzas sold at Aldi across the U.S., but has now been expanded to include other products from retailers including Walmart, Target, QVC and Williams Sonoma.

It was noted that more items may be added as the recall continues.

The FDA’s notification included a recall of Mama Cozzi’s pizzas sold at Aldi stores in the United States.

Other items include Culinary Circle pizza, Kroger croutons and a cheese product.
