US Actor Chuck Norris Hospitalized in Hawaii: Report

Los Angeles: American action star Chuck Norris has been hospitalized in Hawaii for an undisclosed condition, a source said, saying the actor is in “good spirits”, Hollywood news site TMZ reported on Thursday.
A representative for Norris did not immediately comment on the report, which said the “emergency situation” occurred on the island of Kauai within the past 24 hours.
Norris turned 86 last week and celebrated the occasion with a video of himself boxing on social media, saying, “I’m not getting old. I’m leveling up.”
The actor, a martial arts expert, has appeared in numerous action films since his acting debut in 1968, with a brief appearance in Dean Martin’s film “The Wrecking Crew.”
Four years later, his epic fight with kung-fu superstar Bruce Lee in “Way of the Dragon” helped turn Norris into an icon on both the big and small screen.
“There’s nothing like some fun action on a sunny day to make you feel young,” Norris said in his birthday message last week.
