US Air Force F-33 fighter jet declares emergency over UAE ‘after Iran | World | News

According to information obtained, a US warplane flying over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) declared the emergency code as 7700. Flight trackers indicate the F35 made an emergency landing.
Squawk 7700 is the internationally recognized transponder code used by pilots to report an in-flight emergency. It immediately alerts air traffic controllers that the aircraft requires priority treatment.
Areas in the southern Iranian city of Bandar Abbas were hit by “American bullets”, Iranian state television said late Thursday.
Social media rumors in the Middle East indicate that the US is targeting bridges, roads and other civilian infrastructure rather than just military targets.
This comes after the US launched its sixth consecutive nighttime attack on Iran on Thursday.
US Central Command said in a statement: “At 2 p.m. today, US forces began launching a new wave of attacks against Iran for the sixth consecutive night to further weaken Iran’s military capabilities.”
President Trump is increasing pressure on Iran to comply with the conditions set out in the memorandum of understanding and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
