US deports 100 Iranians after deal with Tehran: report

The New York Times says that the United States has returned to Iranian Iran and refers to two senior Iranian officials who participated in negotiations and a US official who has knowledge about plans.
According to the report, a US -charging flight got up from Louisiana on Monday and was scheduled to arrive at Iran via Qatar on Tuesday.
The newspaper said that the deportation, a rare cooperation between the two countries, came after months of negotiations.
The White House and the US State Department did not respond immediately to a Reuters comments request.
US President Donald Trump plans to deport a record number of people living in the United States without legal status, arguing that it is necessary after defining it as high illegal border crossings under the democratic predecessor Joe Biden.
However, the administration struggled to increase their deportation levels, even if they created new ways to send immigrants to other countries.
The newspaper said that the identities of the Iranians and the reasons for trying to migrate to the US were not clear.
The New York Times added that some were volunteer to leave after being in detention centers for months and some of them did not.
According to the report, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinated the return of deportants who were assured of being safe and would not face any problems.
In February, the United States deported 119 people from different countries, including Iran, as a part of the agreement between the two countries to Panama.
