Amitabh Bachchan Roped In To Promote Skill India Digital Hub

New Delhi: Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in to promote Skill India Digital Center (SIDH) as part of a new campaign to boost its outreach across the country, the government said on Sunday.
The ‘Badhna Hai Toh Yahan Judna Hai’ campaign to accelerate India’s Digital Skills Movement through SIDH was launched by Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Jayant Chaudhary on the sidelines of the just-concluded Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit.
“As part of the nationwide push, the campaign brings on board legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, whose enduring popularity and mass public appeal is expected to further strengthen awareness and engagement with Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH), India’s integrated digital platform for skills, employment and lifelong learning,” he said in a statement.
The campaign aims to further expand access to SIDH, which has already onboarded over 1.5 crore registered candidates and has emerged as one of the largest unified digital skills platforms in the country.
As India rapidly moves towards Viksit Bharat and navigates the transformative impact of artificial intelligence, automation and digital innovation, SIDH is positioned as the central engine that will enable citizens to upskill, reskill and future-proof their careers.
Speaking at the launch, Chaudhary said: “SIDH exemplifies how digital public infrastructure can empower lifelong learning and create real economic opportunities, especially in an age defined by artificial intelligence and automation. Through the ‘Badhna Hai Toh Yahan Judna Hai’ campaign, we invite every Indian to connect with this ecosystem and take the next step in their growth journey.”
SIDH is operated by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
