US man jailed 80 years for attacks on Democrats’ homes

A failed Republican candidate in New Mexico has been imprisoned for 80 years for democratic officials to driving in their homes after the 2022 election defeat.

Solomon Pena organized attacks in New Mexico’s largest city Albuquerque, and weeks after weeks after losing a state house seat offer. Federal prosecutors, election fraud is victim of conspiracy theories, he said.

In early 2025, Pena was convicted of 13 heavy crimes due to attacks on four officials, including the current state of State Assembly in December 2022 and January 2023.

Nobody hurts the US representative Nancy Pelosi in the shooting of other politically motivated violence, such as a hammer attack on her husband.

“Violence and intimidation have no place in our choices,” New Mexico Ryan Ellison said on Wednesday. He said.

Pena’s lawyer Nicholas Hart said that his client would object to the conviction.

Two men who said they were hired by Pena for attacks were found guilty in 2024.

After being elected, Pena pressured the members of the Bernalillo District Commissaries Board to not approve the results. Prosecutors said Pena hired Jose Trujillo and Demetrio Trujillo to shoot.

After President Donald Trump refused to accept defeat in the US presidential elections, the allegations of false and unfounded election exploded.
