US must rule out more strikes before new talks, Iranian minister tells BBC

In a statement to the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Tehran BBC, the US needs to strike more strikes on Iran if the US wants to continue diplomatic negotiations.

Majid Takht-Ravanchi said that the Trump administration wanted to return to negotiations this week through mediators to Iran, but did not clarify the position of more attacks on the “very important question”.

When Israel hit Iran’s nuclear areas and military infrastructure at the beginning of this month, Israel had negotiations about Iran’s nuclear program and Iran responded with missiles.

On June 21, when the US bombed Iran’s three nuclear areas, it was directly involved in the conflict.

Takht-Ravanchi also said that Iran would “insist” to enrich the Uranium for what he says it’s peaceful purposes, and that he would secretly refuse charges that Iran would secretly tend to develop a nuclear bomb.

He said that they needed “access to nuclear material” for Iran’s research program, so they need “to trust ourselves”.

“The level of this can be discussed, capacity can be discussed, but you need to enrich it to say that you should not enrich, and if you do not accept, we will bomb you – this is the law of the forest.” He said.

Israel, on June 13, said that Tehran was close to building nuclear weapons in Iran, assassinating the assassination commanders and scientists who targeted nuclear and military fields.

Iran responded to Israel by attacking and hostilities continued for 12 days, while the United States threw bombs into three nuclear areas of Iran: Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan.

The scope of Iran’s damage to the nuclear program by US strikes was uncertain, and Takht-Ravanchi said he could not make a definite assessment.

Rafael Grossi, President of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), announced that strikes were severely caused by “total” damage, and US President Donald Trump’s nuclear facilities of Iran were “completely destroyed”.

Grosi also said that Iran’s Uranium “months for months” has the capacity to begin to re -enrich. In response, Takht-Ravanchi said he didn’t know if the situation would be like that.

Iran’s relationship with IAEA became increasingly tense. On Wednesday, he took action to suspend cooperation with the atomic keeper, accusing the parliament of Siding with Israel and the United States of Israel and the United States.

Trump said he would think of “absolutely” to bomb Iran again if he found that he could enrich the intelligence uranium to the levels.

Takht-Ravanchi said he was not understood on any date for a possible return to negotiations, and that Trump did not know what would happen on the agenda after suggesting that discussions could be done this week.

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Iranian Foreign Minister: “We are looking for an answer to this question right now – we will see the repetition of an aggression action while dealing with dialogue?”

He said that the United States “is quite clear about this very important question” and “what to offer us to provide the necessary confidence for such a dialogue”.

When asked if he could think of rethinking Iran’s nuclear program as part of any agreement, probably in exchange for the help of sanctions in the country and investment, Takht-Ravanchi said: “Why should we accept such an offer?”

Iran reiterated that the program, including the enrichment of uranium to 60%, was “for peaceful purposes”.

Within the scope of the 2015 Nuclear Agreement with the world forces, Iran was not allowed to enrich the level for fuel for fuel – for commercial nuclear power plants – and no enrichment in the Ford facility for 15 years.

However, Trump, as president, abandoned the agreement in 2018 in the first period and said that he had done very little to stop a bomb road and that he had restored US sanctions.

Iran made retaliation by increasingly violating the restrictions. IAEA said that it continued to enrich in Fordo in 2021 and has potentially enrichment about 60% to make nine nuclear bombs – a technical step or 90% – it reached a shorter than the arms class.

Takht-Ravanchi, who puts pressure on European and Western leaders with a lack of confidence in Iran, accused some European leaders for the “ridiculous” confirmation of US and Israeli strikes.

He said that critics of Iran should “criticize how we behave” and criticize the US and Israel.

“And if they don’t have the courage to criticize America, they should remain silent, they shouldn’t try to justify aggression.”

Takht-Ravanchi, Iran through the US high-leader Ayatullah Ali Khanei’yi, the US high-leader Ayatullah Ali Khanei’yi “Iran does not want to enter the regime change” messages received messages, he said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the Iranians to “rise their freedom” to lower the office rule of Khanei, but after the ceasefire of the last week, Trump said he didn’t want the same thing.

Takht-Ravanchi insisted that it would not happen and said the idea was “equivalent to an empty exercise”.

Some Iranians said, “Although they can be criticized by the government about some actions, they will unite to confront him when it comes to foreign aggression.”

The Deputy Foreign Minister said that the ceasefire was not “quite open” with Israel, but Iran would continue to observe “unless there was a military attack against us”.

He said that Iran’s Arab allies in the Gulf of Iran did their best to try to prepare the necessary atmosphere for a dialogue “. It is known that Qatar plays a key role in the brocation of the current ceasefire.

“We do not want war. We want to enter dialogue and diplomacy, but we must be prepared, we must be cautious, we should not be surprised again.”

None of Lyse Doucet’s reports are allowed to report from Iran, provided that BBC is not used by Persian service. This law of Iranian authorities applies to all international media agencies operating in Iran.
