US Open 2025 results: Madison Keys says ‘nerves got the better of me’ as she suffers shock first-round defeat

Keys began the year perfectly and began by defeating the champion Aryna Sabalenka, defending twice in Melbourne to win the first Grand Slam championship.
However, after reaching the quarterfinals of the French Open, 30 -year -old 37 -year -old Laura Siegemund was subjected to a surprise third round of Wimbledon.
In New York, Keys made 37 forced mistakes in the first set, but Zarazua managed to get it on a tie after scored five sets of score.
The match called on the next set to get a key as he moved 3-0, but the second 2017 in New York lost four matches in a row.
He managed to take the set to break a tie, but double errors and errors helped Zarazua to force a decision.
Keys’ coach and husband Bjorn Fratgangelo offered advice and courage at some point – at some point: “This is just a sport, nothing rides on the line” – but the American game remained irregular.
“I want to win but [I was] It’s too much to feel like winning. I could not fully separate myself from this, Key Keys added.
“When you start playing badly, it’s just all snowballs.
“I just felt that I was slow, I didn’t see it as I wanted, which I felt that many bad decisions and lazy foot work.”
After a competition that lasted for three hours and 10 minutes, Zarazua won the first victory against the first 10 players when they revealed wild celebrations between Mexico’s support team.
