Wild brawl erupts at Bankstown Central shopping centre when loss prevention officer allegedly approached women about stolen item

Footage has emerged of a wild fight in Bankstown Central when a loss prevention officer allegedly approached two women about a stolen item.

The officer was allegedly attacked by women at a shopping center in North Terrace, Bankstown, at around 1.20pm on Wednesday.

“Police were told two women allegedly stole from a business before assaulting a loss prevention officer,” a police spokesman said.

Footage of the incident shows two women punching a man outside Myer.

A man apparently tries to push the woman, then she falls to the ground, while another man tries to restrain her.

Another man pushes the stroller aside, but one of the women follows him and takes the stroller.

Police arrested two women nearby and charged them with assault occasioning bodily harm while they were together.

A 22-year-old woman was also charged with theft and possession of a prohibited prescription substance.

They were given a Field Court Notice of Attendance and will appear at Bankstown Local Court on 30 July.
