US Strikes Kill Seven Iranian Troops; Civilian Death Toll Tops 30

Teheran: Seven Iranian military personnel were killed in a US missile attack on military barracks near the southeastern city of Iranshahr on Wednesday, the Iranian military said, as the military conflict between Washington and Tehran continued to intensify.
In the statement made by the army, it was stated that the attack targeted a barracks near Iranshahr in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan province and seven soldiers died.
The latest attack comes at a time when hostility between the United States and Iran is increasing, with both sides launching repeated attacks in recent days.
Separately, an Iranian government spokesman said more than 30 people had been killed in recent US airstrikes across the country. The spokesman did not make a detailed statement about the casualties and did not specify how many of them were civilians or military personnel.
The latest attacks follow a series of US strikes on Iranian military and strategic targets, including the southern port city of Bushehr, as tensions continue to rise despite international calls for restraint.
The ongoing conflict has raised fears of a broader regional escalation, with repeated missile exchanges, attacks on military infrastructure and growing concerns about civilian casualties.
