Prince George joins Prince of Wales in visit to homelessness charity | Prince William
Prince George joined his father, the Prince of Wales, in visiting a homelessness project to help with Christmas lunch preparations in London.
Prince William took his son to the Passage Charity in central London, 30 years after his first visit with his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.
Father and son put on aprons as William poured Brussels sprouts into a baking dish and George placed Yorkshire puddings on a tray before baking.
In a video posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ YouTube account on Saturday, William and his eldest child, 12, were seen chatting with guests, decorating a Christmas tree and helping to set the table.

In the footage, William, 43, rubbed the shoulders of Passage’s head chef Claudette Hawkins and laughed as George helped prepare other vegetables for the roast dinner.
Visiting the shelter in Victoria over the Christmas period has become a tradition for the Prince of Wales, who will also donate in 2023 and 2024. His first visit was in 1993 when he was 11 years old.
William is a royal patron of the charity and aims to help eradicate homelessness in all its forms through his own Homewards project.
Last year he told the ITV1 documentary Prince William: We Can End Homelessness how his first visit to The Passage affected him.
He said: “I remember thinking at the time, if everyone doesn’t have a home they’re all going to be really sad.
“But it was incredible to have such a happy environment.
“I remember having good conversations playing chess and chatting. That’s when I realized there were other people out there who didn’t live the same life as you.”
“When you’re quite young you really think that life is what you see in front of you and you don’t have the concept of looking anywhere else and when you meet people, which is what I did, then it puts a different perspective in your head and says ‘yeah, I was living on the street last night’ and you go ‘wow’, you know.”
