Nine-month-old baby killed in dog attack

A nine-month-old baby has been killed in a dog attack in south-east Wales, according to Gwent Police.

Officers and paramedics attended a property in Crossway in Rogiet, Monmouthshire, at around 18:00 GMT on Sunday.

Police said the dog was seized and removed from the address.

Chief Supt John Davies said: “Officers are at the scene and will be making further inquiries as the investigation progresses.”

Citizens who did not believe in the death of the child gathered on the street where the attack took place.

The society in shock is trying to accept what happened.

They said they saw police cars and ambulances on the quiet residential street in South Wales at the time of the incident.
