Veeyapuram Chundan wins opening race of CBL-5

Village Boat Club (VBC, Pride Chasers) and the rowing veyapuram chidan (Snakeboat) Kainakary, on Friday, the champions boat league (CBL-5) held on the Pamppa River in Kuttanad, the first race of the first race was victorious.
Melpadom Chindan, supported by Pallathuruthy Boat Club (PBC, tropical titans), ranked third by Niranom Child, who attracted a rowing by Niranoma Boat Club (NBC, Super Oars), while he was third. VBC finished the race in 3.33: 34 minutes. PBC 3.33: 62 minutes and NBC 3.41: 68 minutes.
Nine teams
There were nine teams in the race. The three teams were qualified for the final based on the best timing in warming.
The CBL-5 was almost opened by Tourism Minister PA Mohamed Riyas. Mr. Riyas, when he reached the sixth season, CBL will attract global attention and the government has already started an effort in this direction, he said. Riyas, as a part of this, the government launched a micrite to promote the CBL in foreign countries. The site, which contains comprehensive information about boat races, aims to bring more foreign tourists to CBL spaces. In the future, even tour reservations from this site will be activated. ”
The authority said that the government’s purpose is to expand the boat races on a wider scale by bringing together all the competitions held throughout the state. “Therefore, this time, as part of the CBL-5, boat races are organized in the northern regions of Kerala,” he said.
