The 7.5 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the capital Caracas on Wednesday afternoon caused chaos as many tremors were felt.

Items were scattered throughout residents’ homes, with one local stating that he had “never felt anything so strong”.

With the tsunami warning now in effect, people in threatened coastal areas are warned to remain alert and follow instructions from national authorities.
