Victor Wembanyama’s aggressiveness on the court was once again questioned as the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks played Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden.
In the first half, as Knicks All-Star guard Jalen Brunson tried to guard Wembanyama near the free throw line, the 7-foot center put his hand on the back of Brunson’s head and pushed him toward the court.
However, no foul was called on Wembanyama and the game continued with the Knicks retaining the ball.

Brunson immediately got in Wembanyama’s face and the Frenchman was seen smiling before the playmaker went back to work.
This incident was similar to what happened in the Knicks’ road win in Game 2, when Brunson’s backup, Jose Alvarado, left Wembanyama out. Alvarado, who has a similar build to Brunson, was tackled by Wembanyama and ejected from the game.

Once again, no foul was called.
Spurs are known for their physicality but many believed a foul should have been called at Wemby in such situations.

San Antonio started the game very quickly and was ahead by 11 points after the first quarter, trailing 33-22. But these Knicks have consistently shown their ability to come back no matter the deficit.
After a second-quarter run, the Knicks left the locker room with a seven-point lead at halftime.
One of the main reasons why this was the case was Brunson; He played with 15 points, 3 assists and 1 rebound, shooting 5/11 from the field.

Wembanyama scored 15 points, shooting 6/10 from the field, and had 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
While the Spurs try to avoid a brutal 3-0 loss in the best-of-seven series, the Knicks hope to maintain their momentum in the second half and earn a shot at a win at home in Game 4 on Wednesday night.
