Victoria Beckham shared some fun behind-the-scenes photos from her Time100 appearance in New York on Wednesday on Instagram.

The 52-year-old fashion designer appeared in high spirits as he left Lincoln Center, despite reports that he had lost a trademark battle with US luxury handbag retailer Vera Bradley.

The fashion designer’s legal team launched a bid last year to stop the brand from using the VB initials.

Vera Bradley is an American luggage and handbag design company founded in 1982 by Barbara Bradley Baekgaard and Patricia R. Miller, which generates £200 million a year.

While law firm Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp represented Victoria Beckham Ltd, Los Angeles attorney Eleanor Lackman argued that Victoria was known around the world by her initials.

They feared Vera Bradley consumers would think Victoria and her team were behind the designs because the initials Victoria and her team are in the beauty brand’s logo.

However, that case was dropped after asking for more time to put the case together.

According to the statement of the US Patent and Trademark Office Sun: ‘The Board is considering a request made by Potential Competitor Victoria Beckham Limited to waive the extension of time to submit notice of objection.

‘In light of this, the waiver releases the application record for further processing.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Victoria’s representatives for comment.

It was previously reported that Victoria had lost a trademark battle against a Norwegian supermodel’s beauty brand due to the former Spice Girls’ lack of fame in the country.

The fashion designer claimed that Vendela Kirsebom’s Vendela Beauty has an almost identical VB logo as her own brand, which could confuse consumers.

According to reports, Victoria and her team presented their sales figures, magazine articles and Instagram followers to prove their presence in the country.

However, it was ruled that the Beckham brand failed to show how many of its followers were only in Norway, before stating that the sales figures provided were for the entire Scandinavian region.

Model Vendela, whose company sells skin care and makeup products, first filed the trademark application in 2021, years before Victoria’s objection.
