MILLIONS of Super Bowl fans tune into Turning Point USA’s halftime show instead of Bad Bunny’s Spanish-only performance

Millions of NFL fans tuned in to Bad Bunny on Sunday night to watch Turning Point USA’s ‘All-American’ Super Bowl halftime show.
The NFL polarized fans with its decision to feature the Puerto Rican rapper and his Spanish-only songs for the big game in San Francisco, with many voting to finger NBC and load YouTube and Rumble instead.
Kid Rock headlined the alternative MAGA halftime show, which also featured Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.
The initial plan was for the show to also air on X, but this descended into chaos minutes before it was due to start and the broadcast was pulled.
Turning Point USA said in a statement: ‘UPDATE: Due to licensing restrictions we are unable to air The All-American Halftime Show on X. To watch the full show, head over to our YouTube channel tonight around 8pm ET.’
That’s exactly what many fans did; the broadcast peaked at over 5 million viewers midway through the show.

The show began with the host claiming ‘this is for you Charlie’ in tribute to the late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was murdered in September.
A moving rendition of Stars and Stripes was later performed to the audience’s delight, bringing the number of streams that watched ‘Real America’ in action to over 3 million fans.
Views continued to grow as Brantley took the stage in front of a small live audience before Barrett wowed the crowd with her incredible vocals and then Brice brought his country vibe to the proceedings.
Kid Rock then headlined the show, announcing his hit songs, much to the delight of Super Bowl fans who favored Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga and others on NBC’s main broadcast.
He began his short film performance under the name ‘Kid Rock’ and was later introduced to his real name, Robert Ritchie, for a low-key acoustic part.
Fans on social media couldn’t get enough of the entertainment, with one writing: ‘I didn’t even watch the stupid Bad Bunny halftime, I’m watching Turning Point’s amazing halftime show with Kid Rick, Gabby Barrett and Brantley Gilbert and real American assholes.’
Another added: ‘Has anyone actually watched Bad Bunny? Turning Point for me. Kid Rock!’
At the beginning of the program, the presenter received a message saying ‘This is for you, Charlie’

Just before the broadcast ended, a photo of Charlie and Erica Kirk with their children emerged
At the end of the show, the cameras moved away from Kid Rock and his guitar to reveal photos of Kirk, his wife Erica, and their children, accompanied by the words: ‘In Memory of Charlie Kirk.’
Kid Rock told fans in a statement earlier in the week: ‘We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath. It’s almost impossible to compete with the professional football machine and a global pop superstar… or is it?’
In a statement to Fox News, TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said: ‘The All-America Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than celebrating faith, family and freedom.
‘We can’t wait to watch the incredible show they are about to put on. We know millions of people across the country will be watching, too.’
Bad Bunny got a big reaction from some fans as he prepared to headline the official show in Santa Clara on Sunday night, including President Trump.
“I don’t know who you are,” Trump told Newsmax last fall. ‘I don’t know why they did this. This is crazy. And then they blame it on some promoters they hired for the entertainment. ‘I think this is absolutely ridiculous.’
Turning Point USA was founded by the late Charlie Kirk, and his widow, Erika, vowed to continue promoting his message after he was assassinated while attending an event at Utah Valley University in September.

In San Francisco, Bad Bunny was performing his songs, all in Spanish, live on NBC.
The Puerto Rican was joined by names like Lady Gaga at the Super Bowl LX halftime show
Days after his death, she posted a video saying: ‘The oppressors responsible for my husband’s assassination have no idea what they are doing.
‘They killed Charlie because he preached the message of patriotism, faith and God’s merciful love.
‘If you ever thought my husband’s mission was powerful, you have no idea. ‘You have no idea what you are unleashing on this entire country and this world.’
Bunny has been extremely vocal in his criticism of ICE and has chosen to avoid scheduling US tour dates due to concerns that his Latinx fans could be detained while attending shows.
