A video shared online shows the mistakenly released hotel asylum seeker walking down Chelmsford’s high street.

Police launched a manhunt after Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl, was accidentally released from prison.

The Ethiopian national arrived in the UK on a small boat and was sentenced to 12 months in prison for the attack in Epping, Essex, last month.
