Mamata Banerjee tells minority community to stay calm, calls Malda’s Kaliachak incident as “conspiracy of Amit Shah”

Terming the Malda incident as a conspiracy by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Banerjee said, “This is a conspiracy to cancel the election. This is a conspiracy by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. From an incident perspective, they say the law and order situation has deteriorated in Bengal.” Banerjee was addressing Malda’s Sagarighi rally.

“Amit Shah must submit his resignation immediately for repeatedly failing in his duty to protect the public, weakening law and order and playing politics with the peace of Bengal. Bengal will not tolerate this evil conspiracy,” Banerjee said in her X Handle post.
West Bengal Chief Minister warned the minority people and asked them to remain calm and said, “The entire state has been slandered due to an incident in Malda.”
“Please don’t go to the judges and we will fight in the Court. Believe and trust me. Do you want Bengal to go to the BJP? Don’t rush by going and listening to the BJP. They are making fools of you,” Banerjee urged people at Malda’s Sagarighi public rally.
Warning to people in the minority community at a public rally, Banerjee said, “If there is a problem, do not step into provocation. If you take the law into your hands, your sons and daughters will be arrested by the CBI or the police. I have no power now as nothing is in my hands.”Also Read: Be careful while filing nominations, new incumbents may reject them: Mamata to TMC candidates
Banerjee alleged that a new set of senior bureaucrats were appointed, alluding to the appointment of Chief Secretary and DGP and that she was not informed about any incidents after their appointment by the ECI. Banerjee also pointed out that she was not informed even once about the Kaliachak incident in Malda yesterday. “I feel very bad about the incident. I am not in the mood to make any speech,” he said at his public rally in Malda.
“Let law and order prevail. Chief Secretary, DGP showed off. They are appointed by ECI. They have been appointed and have no knowledge of the geography of the state,” Banerjee said.
Banerjee also wrote in her X Handle: “They have removed and transferred experienced State Government officials and senior police officers who know every nook and corner of Bengal like the back of their hands. In their place, they have deployed Center officials who have zero understanding of our geography, demography or ground reality. These outsiders are ill-equipped to deal with local situations and now the BJP is using this isolated incident to malign the entire state and portray Bengal as lawless. This is unforgivable. If someone is truly at fault.” If there is one, it is @Amit Shah,” Banerjee also shared on X Handle.
