Vodafone outage: thousands of broadband and mobile users report problems | Vodafone

On Monday, tens of thousands of Vodafone customers reported being unable to access services such as internet and mobile phone calls.
Consumers began reporting problems on outage monitor Downdetector’s website starting at 3pm on Monday.
As of 3:20 p.m., the number of service outage reports had risen to more than 135,000.
Based on the distribution of reported incidents, more than two-thirds of the incidents appear to involve customers receiving Vodafone’s internet broadband service at home.
Almost a quarter of reported incidents were related to mobile internet access, and around 8% of Vodafone customers reported being unable to make calls due to lack of mobile signal.
Some customers said they were also unable to access the Vodafone app or website.
Reports from cities including London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester reveal the problems are widespread.
A Vodafone spokesperson said: “We are aware of a significant issue on our network which is currently affecting broadband, 4G and 5G services.
“We appreciate our customers’ patience as we work to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.”
