Police nabbed pickpockets using ‘Location’ feature on mobile phone

The location feature on the mobile phone helped the Wilson Garden police to watch two people about the serial pickpocketing on Saturday.

After a mobile theft case from a passengers of a UNTC bus from Majestic to Banashankari, the police took action and watched the seven mobile phones stolen.

The police watched the place and ran to the ground before reset two people in hours. 34 -year -old Kavadi Parashuram and 19 -year -old partner SaatHipati Premkumar, described as the duo, Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool region from Dhone Taluk.

Wilson Garden Inspector Farooq Pasha MG, who led the operation, said the duo was the usual criminal and that he came to the city for a pickpocketer on crowded buses. They chose the most crowded routes and used their skills and stolen valuables and went out before returning to Majestic for the next trip.

After a series of theft, he said they would go back and sell the stolen valuables in the gray market.

This is the second event in which the police using technology broke the cases. A few days ago, a pair of AirPods stolen, a gang that participated in a series of home breaks was arrested after helping researchers help researchers to watch them with the feature of ‘Find My Device’.
