NIA conducts massive terror crackdown in Kashmir, conducts raids at Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam

As part of an ongoing investigation into the car blast case in Delhi, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted raids at several places in Kashmir’s Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam districts. The investigating agency has carried out searches in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a “white-collar” terror module that was behind a car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort. The house of Moulvi Irfan Ahmad Wagay, the mastermind of radicalization and recruitment of the ‘white collar’ terror module, in Shopian was also searched. The agency was arrested in Saharanpur of Uttar Pradesh in the first week of November. Adeel Ahmad searched Pretty’s house.

Authorities also conducted raids in Koil, Chandgam, Malangpora and Samboora areas of Pulwama district and claimed that these areas were linked to people linked to the car blast incident in Delhi.
