Waller lashes call to race on at Randwick

Waller said Sydney’s leading roads should be better protected in colder months.

“Last month, what were we competing in Randwick?” he asked. “What were we competing in Rosehill when we got all these big races and big names to compete right now?

“We should just respect the tracks and they don’t grow in winter, so curators can only do a lot.

“So, yes, they should see that big names are more often compete.

“We have the best platform in Sydney – the jealousy of this world – but we must make sure that it is sustainable.

Waller said that running over the Sistina is a “Lineball Call” instead of saving him for the Nomie Stakes in Melbourne next week.

“It is an emotional decision to give,” he said. “One of the reasons we have a whining is a little, but we think it is safe, and we will walk on the track before the race to make sure it is not born too much, and again, to make sure that the home will come safe, the key and the performance will not be good on a heavy road, but I hope good enough to fight the end.
