Indian Embassy in Thailand Issues Travel Advisory Amid Ongoing Unrest

Bangkok: On Friday, the Indian Embassy in Thailand called on to avoid traveling to seven provinces in the midst of unrest for its citizens in the country.
According to Thailand public broadcasting service operated by the state, clashes between Thailand and Cambodia exploded along the border between their countries, killed at least 11 people and injured several people.
“Considering the situation close to the Thai-Kambol border, all Indian travelers who go to Thailand are advised to check updates from their official sources, including Tat Newsroom,” in an X Post of the Indian Embassy. He said.
Adding a task by the Thai Tourism Authority, he said that the places in question were not “recommended” for travel.
Tourism Authority, Ubon Ratchathani, Surin, Sisake, Buriram, SA Kaeo, Chahaburi and Trat provinces “various attraction centers” were not recommended for a visit, he said.
