Wedding Called Off After Groom Objects to Bride Dancing in AP’s Markapuram

Markapuram: In an unexpected turn of events, the wedding was canceled after the groom objected to the bride dancing during the wedding procession (Baraat). The incident took place in Chinaganipalli village of Racharla mandal of Markapuram district.

According to reports, the marriage was arranged between a man from Chinaganipalli and a woman from Turimella. Before the wedding ceremony on Saturday night, a traditional bereat procession with relatives and friends dancing was held. Some guests wanted the bride to join them on the dance floor.

While the bride was willing to dance, the groom was strongly against the bride dancing. Thereupon, a violent argument broke out between the two families.

The bride’s father, who was said to be disturbed by the groom’s behavior, canceled the wedding.
