Welland ‘shooting’: ‘Active shooter on loose’ as Niagara police lockdown streets | World | News

Schools in the region were closed upon reports of an armed attack.

Niagara Regional Police Service said: “Schools in the immediate area and Welland Hospital are currently on lockdown as officers respond and respond to the situation.”

The Niagara District School Board said no staff at Plymouth will be able to leave the school and no students or staff will be allowed into the school.
