What Australia does next after Bondi Hanukkah shooting matters

Last night was the first night of Hanukkah. Hanukkah has been one of my favorite Jewish festivals for most years. It usually falls around the summer holidays, the weather is usually good, and most years I have lots of parties to choose from to take my kids to.

Hanukkah is the festival of lights. This symbolizes the rededication of the Temple more than 2,000 years ago, but more than that, it came to symbolize the idea that light could persist even when all else was dark.
