MAHAVATAR NARSİMHA OTT Release Date

Animated epic mythological action film Mahavatar Narsimha was published in theaters on 25 July 2025. The film broke a surprise box office records in India because it was a 250 RS 250 Crore network and the worldwide RS 325 Crore net and became the highest revenue Indian animated film. It is also the fourth highest revenue film after Chhaava, Saiyaara and Coolie.

Almost two months after his release, Mahavatar Narimha will start to flow in Netflix in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Ott Giant shared his poster in his social media handles and said, “This lion’s roaring can overthrow a kingdom. Watch Mahavatar Narimha at Netflix on 19 September 12:30.”

The box office record -breaking animated film is directed by Ashwin Kumar, produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai and Chaija Desai under the flag of Kleem Productions and presented by Hombale Films. On November 25, 2024, he premiered at the Indian International Film Festival (IFFI).

Mahavatar Narsimha revolves around Prahlada, a loyal follower of Lord Vishnu, who is opposed by his atheist father Hiranyakashipu, who was blessed by Lord Brahma with immortality. Lord Vishnu later descends in the form of Half-Man, Half Lion Form Narimha to protect Prahlada.

The film is the first installment in the seven -part Mahavatar cinematic universe, which is planned to Lord Vishnu’s ten avatars. The next planned films in this Indian MCU are Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dwarkadhish (2031), Mahavatar Gokulanda (2033), Mahavatar Kalkki Section 1 (2035) and Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 (2037).
