White House fires back at Ariana Grande over ICE video song criticism

The White House reacted to Ariana Grande on Thursday after the “Bad” actress criticized the Trump administration for using one of her songs in a social video depicting Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests.

“We will say this for the last time: It is the criminal, illegal aliens who are actually barbaric, inhumane, and disgusting who are injuring and killing innocent American citizens,” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital.

The 32-year-old criticized the White House for using his song “Bye” in a TikTok video earlier this week, writing in the comments section: “Please don’t use my music regarding this barbaric, inhumane, disgusting nonsense. Damn.”

The caption of the White House video read: “Goodbye. President Trump secured the most secure border in history.”

As of Thursday, the audio appeared to have been removed from the video.

Last September, Grande shared an Instagram post claiming that “immigrants are being violently separated from their families and their communities are being destroyed.”

She also attended the Women’s March shortly after President Donald Trump first took office in 2017 and vocally opposed the transgender bathroom ban on social media.

Last year he also shared a protest sign that read, “Can someone explain which crimes got you deported and which got you elected President? This is so confusing,” a reference to Trump’s 34 felony convictions related to his falsifying business records in the Stormy Daniels “hush money” case.

He previously supported Kamala Harris for president and performed for former President Barack Obama at the White House in 2014.
