Why are UK fuel prices rising again?

Crude oil is an important component in gasoline and diesel; This means higher wholesale costs make filling up a car more expensive.
Analysts say every $10 (£7.53) increase in the price of oil increases pump prices by around 7p per litre.
Since the start of the war, the barrel price of Brent crude oil, the global benchmark for wholesale oil prices, has fluctuated wildly.
Before the conflict, Brent was around $70 a barrel, but during the conflict that value rose to over $120.
In early July, after the signing of the framework agreement, prices fell to around $70 per barrel, but have since rebounded to around $87 per barrel.
