Obama completely IGNORES gunman’s manifesto to claim ‘we don’t know’ motive behind shooting at White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Former President Barack Obama faced criticism for claiming that the motive behind the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Sunday was still unclear, despite an alleged manifesto.

The letter, originally obtained by the New York Post, details how gunman Cole Tomas Allen, 31, targeted members of the Trump administration at the glitzy gala.

‘Turning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I am not someone who was raped in a detention camp. It was reported that the manifesto stated, “I am not a fisherman who was executed without trial.”

‘I am not a blown-up schoolboy or a starving child or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration. It is not Christian behavior to turn the other cheek when *someone else* is under pressure; “It is to be a party to the crimes of the oppressor,” he continued.

In one passage, Allen allegedly wrote: ‘I will no longer allow a pedophile, rapist and traitor to cover my hands with his crimes.’

But a few hours after the letter, Obama claimed that “details about the reasons” were still unclear.

“While we do not yet have details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, it is incumbent upon all of us to reject the notion that violence has any place in our democracy,” X posted Sunday evening.

‘This is also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents demonstrate every day. I’m grateful to them, and I’m grateful that the agent who was shot is recovering.’

The former commander-in-chief quickly faced some reactions due to this duty.

Obama to X on Sunday

Obama texted X on Sunday that “we do not yet have details on the motive behind last night’s shooting.”

‘There is no uncertainty. This was a politically motivated attack driven by anti-Trump and anti-Christian sentiment. “It is wrong to minimize or conceal the obvious cause,” said Tricia McLaughlin, a former spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security.

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin also attacked the former president.

‘Let’s not pretend to be so ignorant about the rationale,’ he wrote.

‘The would-be assassin published an anti-Trump manifesto stating that he wanted to kill Trump Administration officials, minutes before attempting to attack a ballroom filled with the President, Vice President, Cabinet and many others in his Executive.’

Utah Senator Mike Lee added: ‘This was politically motivated. He made that quite clear.’

Even an account of the Republican National Committee condemned Obama for his remarks.

“Law enforcement confirms this radical Leftist targeted President Trump and his administration last night,” RNC Research wrote. ‘Why are you lying?’

After reading the letter, President Donald Trump suggested Sunday that Democrats had helped radicalize far-left agitators like Allen.

Cole Tomas Allen, 31, sent a frightening anti-Trump text to family members just 10 minutes before he allegedly opened fire at the Washington Hilton on Saturday night.

He also stated that the internet ‘radicalises some people’ and ‘makes some mentally ill’, and argued that the far left spreads violent rhetoric.

“I think the hate speech from the Democrats is much more dangerous,” Trump told CBS’ Norah O’Donnell in a ’60 Minutes’ interview.

‘I think this is really dangerous for the country.’

President Donald Trump and Melania appeared on stage with other members of his cabinet just before gunshots rang out and chaos ensued.

A Secret Service agent was injured when his bulletproof vest was shot and was expected to recover.

A subsequent investigation revealed that Allen had been staying at the Hilton hotel where the event was taking place ahead of the premiere, and that his family said he would regularly visit the shooting range to practice with his guns.

He was also said to have been armed with two guns and a knife as he allegedly tried to bypass a security checkpoint and reach the door of the ballroom where the president was gathered with top cabinet members and thousands of journalists.

Trump said the gunman appeared “blurry” in security footage showing him running down the hotel hallway on Saturday night and joked that the “NFL should have taped him.”

‘But it was surprising because as soon as they [law enforcement] You could see them draw their weapons when they saw that. “They were so professional, they pointed their guns and then they just took him down,” Trump told O’Donnell.

The suspect is expected to be arraigned Monday on two counts of use of a firearm during a crime of violence and assault on a federal officer using a dangerous weapon.
