Who is Niranjan Gupta? Hindustan Unilever appoints ex-Hero MotoCorp CEO as new Chief Financial Officer

Rapid -moving consumer goods (FMCG) Giant Hindustan Unilever Ltd (Hul), on August 21, 2025 in a statement, according to a stock market Industry Vedtar Niranjan Gupta’yı new Chief Finance Officer (CFO) announced.

The company also announced that Niranjan Gupta’s appointment would be effective as an appointment from 1 September 2025 and will take reins from 1 November 2025.

“At the meeting held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, we would like to declare that the Company’s Board of Directors is based on the advice of the Candidate and Wage Committee and Audit Committee, and since the appointment of Mr. Niranjan Gupta (DIN: 07806792) as the Chief Finance Officer – since September 1, 2025, FMG -Giant Thorgh’s filing.

Gupta was appointed as the company’s CFO for a five -year period, and the last working date is in the position on 31 October 2030.

Who is Niranjan Gupta?

Niranjan Gupta is an industrial veteran with approximately thirty years of experience for corporate sections. According to the LinkedIn profile, he became a member of the Board of Directors at Aterer Energy, a two -wheeled electric vehicle manufacturer for more than four years.

Before joining ATER, Niranjan Gupta was the CEO of Hero Motocorp (CEO). Gupta started his career in 1994 as Finance Manager at Unilever in Hindustan.

After spent more than 12 years in the company, Niranjan Gupta was globalized and joined Unilever as the chief supply officer of South Asian operations. Six and a half years later, he decided to leave his post as the Global Finance Director in Unilever in London and join Madencilik Major Vedanta as the chief finance manager of the aluminum and power business.

In April 2017, Niranjan Gupta left Vedanta to join Hero Motocorp as his CFOs and later became the CEO of one of the largest two -wheel manufacturers in India.

According to LinkedIn data, Niranjan Gupta graduated from St.xavier College in Trade (Finans) in Calcutta. It also has degrees from the Institute of Cost Accountants in India and the Institute of Secretaries of India. Gupta also graduated from his rented accounting in 1994.
