Who is Shantanu Narayen?
Narayen was born on 27 May 1963 in Hyderabad, Telangana, as the second son of his parents. He attended Hyderabad Public School and received his bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from Osmania University.
Narayen also earned a master’s degree in computer science from Bowling Green State University.
Narayen, who also holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, started his career in 1986 at a startup called Measurex Automation Systems in Silicon Valley.
He also worked in senior executive positions at Apple from 1989 to 1995.
