‘Who’s the Boss?’ star Danny Pintauro delivers packages as a side hustle

Danny Pintauro gets brutally honest about life after child stardom.
The old “Who’s the Boss?” The star, now 50, shared what her life is like after fame by posting a selfie during her last job delivering packages.
In a candid Instagram post, Pintauro shared a photo of himself sitting behind the wheel of a car full of deliveries.

“Working hard when you’re not ‘working’. The entertainment industry has been very slow, so I’m doing what a lot of people do; figure it out, show up, and take the job that’s available while still doing the work I really want. 38 packs today! There’s no shame in staying active,” Pintauro captioned the post.

Pintauro starred in “Who’s the Boss?” with Tony Danza, Judith Light and Alyssa Milano. He became famous with his movie. His role as Jonathan Bower became a fan favorite during the show’s eight-season run from 1984 to 1992.

Her candid post comes after a frightening health scare that nearly turned fatal.
In December 2024, Pintauro revealed that he was hospitalized following a Thanksgiving scooter accident.

Sharing a video slideshow on Instagram, the actor explained how the cycle lane “suddenly became blocked with cones”, leading to a serious accident.

Her husband, Wil Tabares, took her to the hospital, where doctors discovered that the accident had caused a life-threatening injury to the stomach lining.

According to Pintauro, the damage triggered “an infection in my bloodstream,” while “air and stomach acid etc. were getting into my abdomen.”

Describing it as “the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt in my entire life,” he explained that the diagnosis led to “emergency surgery last night to repair the tear.”

“If I had waited any longer, I could have died,” Pintauro said at the time, adding that listening to his body ultimately saved his life. “He was the one who told me something was definitely wrong,” he said.
Since his initial success, Pintauro has largely moved away from the Hollywood spotlight, moving from California and following a different path, continuing to take on occasional acting roles, including appearances in projects such as “The Quarantine Bunch” and “A Country Christmas Harmony.”
