Why Australia needs its own republic movement

As millions march under the ‘No to Kings’ banner in the US, it’s time for Australians to take a fresh look at their own unelected head of state, writes GJ Burchall.
THERE IS ANOTHER There is no king The next weekend there was a protest for the Republic of America.
The first brought an estimated 5 million people to the streets in June 2025; 7 million in October 2025; 9 million in March 2026.
largest citizen protests in US history.
The demonstrations are being held to call out President Trump for trying to pass himself off as a demagogic Divine Monarch, a super-supreme head of state who now claims sovereignty by wearing a pageant crown on his grotesque hair.
But the truth is, there is not a whimper in the Australian Free State, which is sadly suffering under the terrible deal. Why are there no Aussie No Kings meetings?
Let’s not forget: Australia is nothing more than the dispossession of this unelected “King” and his dysfunctional family. To describe this parasitic clan as cutesy and “ritualistic” is to forget that for the one-third of Australians who were born or have parents abroad, this “tradition” is completely foreign.
It is necessary to forget that about a quarter of Australia’s territory belongs to the tarnished “crown”.
To give permission Charles Chucklehead He has Britain if he believes he has the right to do so. Let him swindle £132 million (AU$249.9 million) in projected “salary” this year, auction off the seabed around England, Wales and Northern Ireland for offshore wind rights, and collect rent on property worth £1.5 billion (AU$2.8 billion), while his Buckingham Palace residence is renovated for £369 million (AU$698.7 million) at public expense.
Apparently the British are quite happy with this. They found the opportunity and took it. I’m sick of the snobs, there was something popular uprising in 1649 And Original Charles Not to mention his beheading for treason. to be “Cruel, traitor, murderer and enemy of the people”.
Inexplicably, after a civil war and the cruel return of that evil Oliver Cromwellthe forelocked British people chose to do something completely insane and restore the monarchy, as if nothing bloody had ever happened; which obviously happened in a very bloody way.
Thus he became the son of Charles the Headless. Charles The Reboot and the club clan retained authority and land titles until the current incumbent, Charles the Second Sequel.
However, in Australia people do not take kindly to being subjugated. If they don’t like a leader, they won’t hesitate to send a helpful message. Consider elections in which enthroned prime ministers or opposition leaders lose not only votes but also their own seats.
Probably for “treason”.
Why don’t you release the royals? Because they are “harmless”? Is this because they do not “hurt” and “oppress” as they do now in Ireland, India, America, parts of Africa, and countless other colonies?
What about hurt pride? Should Australia be completely “right” to have a foreign head of state who can (and has) dismissed an elected government? Can the Olympics be proud when a quarter of the flag raised is dominated by another country’s standard?
Even good-natured Canada put an end to such nonsense with a big national flag. Wouldn’t it be great to see a new Australian flag flying at the Brisbane Games?
Nothing will change unless the Australian people want it to. There will be no war, no bloodshed, no nation divided in two. But now it’s time to say “time”. It’s truly time for liberation. A half-witted politician foretold: “We will talk about an Australian republic after Elizabeth 2.0 dies”. Then came “after the coronation of the weary Charles the Second.” What about now? Will you wait for that weasel William to rise? It needs to stop.
Let the Poms play this medieval game, but not 21st century Australia.
See how many birthdays Chukka wants to have as many properties as he owns. The delivery date was in November, but he opted for June as the weather was better (for England!) – but for most of the Australian colonies June is the coldest, wettest month of the year. Western Australia and Queensland prefer (respectfully?) September and October respectively.
Could Australia have an alternative public holiday for Independence Day? Wouldn’t that be something?
Can someone please organize a No Kings protest for Australia? The numbers won’t be as high as in the US, but they have the potential to be larger than any Neo-Nazi, anti-immigration or First Nation rally.
Get angry. Spread the message. Look at the cigarette. Almost everyone has a message about public inflation. So all the old people ‘No Smoking’ signs should be redesigned. Simply cross it out ‘smo’ and you have a lot of ready-made materials ‘No King’ banners.
Take them to the streets. This is about logic, not betrayal.
