US President Donald Trump became the first US president to miss the US opening match of the FIFA World Cup. President Claudia Sheinbaum also did not attend the Mexican opener at Azteca Stadium on Thursday, and Prime Minister Mark Carney did not attend the Canadian opener in Toronto on Friday.
