An idiot fan at the USA’s opening match of the World Cup has been branded the ‘worst streaker in sports history’ after attempting to enter the pitch.
The stupid fan thought it would be a good idea to rush into the crowd of security personnel and pay the price before he was met with insults from his fellow spectators.
Spirits were high in Los Angeles as the United States beat Paraguay 4-1 thanks to an own goal, Folarin Balogun’s double and Giovanni Reyna’s fine finish from the trivela.
The nearly packed SoFi Stadium, packed with around 70,000 fans, needed no courage to lose their minds as they witnessed Mauricio Pochettino’s spectacular performance.
However, the plot was lost towards the end when a man jumped over the glass at the edge of the booth and began running up and down the platform as he prepared to jump.
On the grass less than two meters below, dozens of security guards immediately became alert and began to follow his every move.

He reached the crowd of stewards who jumped on him and beer rained down on the ground.
The man, dressed all in black, was running back and forth with a red and white ball in his hand, then decided to take his first step towards the crowd.
Within a second, multiple security guards jumped on him to corner him.
Meanwhile, beers and glasses rained down from the stands in an insulting manner.
‘You idiot,’ shouted a supporter who posted the action. ‘You stupid idiot.’
“You idiot***,” another roared in a broad accent. ‘What the fuck!’
Our industry colleagues at Barstool Sports described him simply as ‘possibly the worst streaker in the history of sports.’
At least he was the player who occupied the field and never took the field.
FIFA and stadium staff will remain on high alert throughout the tournament, aware of the potential risk posed by pitch invaders.
While most are harmless annoyances and just want to take a selfie with one of their favorite stars, some may have ulterior motives.
