William and Kate ‘getting advice from friends’ for big George decision | Royal | News

Prince William and Princess Catherine are said to have trusted their close friend with an important decision regarding their eldest son. The couple have reportedly finalized their decision on which school Prince George will attend from September 2026.
Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven, are enrolled at Lambrook School in Berkshire. The young royal has been a student at the school since moving to Windsor in 2022.
The prestigious school currently caters for students up to the age of 13, which is the age George will mark this July.
There are reports that William and Catherine were deciding between Eton College, where William attended, and Marlborough College, where Catherine was a student.
The final decision has not yet been made public.
In the last part HELLO!Melanie Sanderson, editor-in-chief of The Good Schools Guide, claims on A Right Royal Podcast that the couple probably received advice from their close circle of friends.
“I would expect them to seek advice from friends who have older children,” she shared.
He added: “William and Catherine also went through this system – William at Eton and Catherine at Marlborough College.
“So with a friendship group where their friends might have older kids at those schools, they will be very well networked and able to give advice.”
