Bullayya College of Engineering hosts Technotsav and Kalotsav 2K26

Lankapalli Bullayya Autonomous Engineering College organized its annual technical and cultural festival Technotsav 2K26 and Kalotsav 2K26 at Jayabharat Pranganam on the campus on Saturday.
The event was jointly organized by the Departments of Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Basic Sciences and Humanities, bringing together students from different academic fields on a common platform to promote innovation, creativity and technical excellence.
Lalit Bohra, Divisional Railway Manager, East Coast Railway Waltair Division, who attended as the chief guest, underlined the importance of technical proficiency and innovation in nation building.
Guest of honor Abhishek Trivedi, Executive Director, VRMP, HPCL Visakha Refinery, spoke about the evolving industry prospects and urged students to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.
Dr. G. Madhu Kumar, Secretary and Correspondent, LB Colleges, encouraged the students to actively participate in such platforms to improve their technical skills and overall personality.
In his opening remarks, Principal D. Deepak Chowdary emphasized the importance of technical festivals in engineering institutions in promoting innovation, collaboration and experiential learning. He appreciated the efforts of faculty and students in organizing the event successfully.
Technotsav 2K26 included a wide range of activities such as technical quiz, article presentation, poster presentation, model fair, cube casting, bridge construction, circuit building, bug bounty, code transfer, hackathon, project fair and general exam, aiming to improve technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Kalotsav 2K26 showcased cultural vibrancy with competitions in dance, music, arts and other creative fields.
Nearly 500 students from over 15 institutions in the northern coastal regions participated in various competitions. The festival provided students and technology enthusiasts with the opportunity to interact, collaborate and explore emerging trends in science and technology.
