A former football hooligan has revealed winning £1million in the EuroMillions left him splashing around as if he were a billionaire.

Bradford City fan Daniel Wright said: “You know, there’s something weird about it? You know, really, after you’ve made that money, after you’ve enjoyed it for a few weeks… because I’ve always made money and I’ve always done well.

“You know what? I didn’t like the feeling. I used to think to myself: ‘You’re a lucky bitch.’ I used to think about this all the time. That’s weird to say.

“I was thinking in my head: ‘Everyone in life is going to think you’re lucky and didn’t work for it.’ And it was driving me a little crazy. “I even ruined some of it just because I didn’t like it.”
