Woman Accused of Shooting at Rihanna’s House Pleads Not Guilty in Court

Los Angeles: The woman accused of opening fire at pop icon Rihanna’s house did not admit her guilt in court. According to PEOPLE magazine, the 35-year-old defendant appeared in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday and denied all charges against him. The case is linked to a shooting that occurred at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home earlier this month. The woman is accused of serious crimes including attempted murder, multiple assaults with a semi-automatic firearm, and shooting into an occupied property, according to media reports. He is currently being held on $1.875 million bail. If convicted, he could face life imprisonment. According to authorities, the defendant allegedly went to the property on March 8 and opened fire with a semi-automatic rifle. Rihanna, her partner A$AP Rocky and their children were inside the house at the time of the incident. Authorities confirmed that there were no injuries in the incident. However, it was stated that one of the bullets hit the wall of the house.

Police later arrested the suspect in Sherman Oaks after he fled the scene. Authorities also said his motive was still unclear. Investigators are also looking into past social media posts that appear to mention the singer. While the reason behind the crime has not yet been disclosed, Rihanna has not yet made a statement about the incident.
