Woman among 4 Held in Electrician’s Murder in Golconda

Those arrested were identified as undergraduate student Shaik Zahed (28), nicknamed Sohail, Jaber (30), aka milk distributor Zeeshan Nawab, Laddu (30), aka tile worker Amer Nawab, and Nafeez Sulthana (48), a food service worker. All the accused were residents of Golconda.

On June 12, 2026, at 6 pm, police received a complaint from Shaik Ismail (68), an auto driver and resident of Kumarwadi in Golconda, stating that his son Shaik Mahboob had married Rukshar Begum in January 2025 after falling in love with her.

Rukshar’s brother Shaik Zahed alias Sohail was strongly against his sister’s love marriage with Mahboob. Due to their love marriage, Shaik Zahed often quarreled with his son. In late December, her son was blessed with a baby boy.

Shaik Zahed, along with his mother Shameem begum and sister Rubi, came to their house in Kumarwadi, argued with his son and forcibly took Rukshar to their house with them. At that time Shaik Zahed told them that he will not let Rukshar live with his son and left.

He also said that he will ensure that his son divorces Rukshar. Due to the arguments, Sheikh Zahed, along with his cousins ​​Zeeshan Nawab, Ameer Nawab and Nafeez Sultana, forced their way into their house with sticks, knives and wooden sticks and attacked Mahboob on June 12.

When the complainant and his family tried to stop them, they did not listen and drove them away. First, Sheikh Zahed attacked his son’s head with a stick, while Jaber attacked his head and other parts with a knife. Meanwhile, Laddu and his mother Nafeez Sultana attack his son’s body with wooden sticks.

As a result, death for Shaik Mahboob occurred instantly. According to the information obtained, the police detained the suspect.
