Woman Found Dead In Hotel Room; Boyfriend Detained

According to Langer Houz police official, the deceased, identified as Renuka, had checked into the hotel with her boyfriend Farukh on Thursday evening. Renuka, a club dancer at Kings and Queens in Kukatpally, was a resident of Bolaram. He was previously living in Mukabowli. Police said the woman got married eight years ago and had a seven-year-old son, but lived separately from her husband.

Langer Houz Police also said, “Her relationship with her boyfriend Farukh, who is from Golconda district, started after they met at the bar and they were together for the last six months. They came to V Grand hotel room yesterday.” Authorities stated that the couple ordered biryani at the hotel after checking in. Farukh then left to attend an event. Around 12:30 pm, Renuka video-called another friend and said it was her birthday the next day, adding, “I have a birthday present for you.” He later committed suicide by hanging himself in a hotel room.

Authorities said Farukh is also married and has three children. Police detained him and he is currently being held for questioning. Police said that we have shifted the body of the deceased to Osmania General Hospital for Autopsy (PME) and are investigating the matter.
