A woman went viral when she started grabbing several wine bottles for herself amidst the chaos at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

The bold move came after gunshots were heard at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner at the Washington Hilton on Saturday night.

A gunman, later identified by authorities as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen of California, reportedly attacked a security checkpoint outside the main ballroom armed with a shotgun, handgun and multiple knives.

But it turns out one woman was more worried about getting her money’s worth than about eviction.

The blonde, who was seen wearing a long black fur coat, went straight to the table to stock up on drinks.

The shooting took place in the early evening and so there was a lot of liquor left untouched in the ballroom.

The identity of the woman has not yet been revealed, and it is not clear whether the drink she paid for was alcohol. There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing.

Despite this, the images quickly went viral, leaving many divided on the move.

One of them said: “This is absolutely disgusting. Members of the press were caught stealing wine bottles immediately after the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.”

Another added: “The President was nearly assassinated and members of the media are using the opportunity to steal wine bottles.”

However, others disagreed, finding the move funny.

One of them said: “Paid over $350 per plate and night was canceled early, free wine tax refund is fair game.”

Another poster read: “How is this theft? They were placed on the tables for dinner. They were meant to be consumed. Everything had already been paid for.”

A third said: “The highlight of the shoot was all the press and influencers shouting bottles of wine and champagne. Well done to them for that.”

A fourth commented: “This is absolutely hilarious. After the assassination attempt, this woman just grabbed a few bottles of wine. She’s got her priorities straight.”

During the confrontation, the suspect fired at a Secret Service agent, who was shot at close range but survived without major injuries thanks to his bulletproof vest.

Investigators believe the attack was politically motivated, and Acting U.S. Attorney Todd Blanche said initial findings indicate the gunman likely targeted administration officials, including the president.

It was reported that in the writings found in the suspect’s possession, he was referred to as a “Friendly Federal Assassin” and criticized the current administration’s policies.

While the event was canceled for the evening, President Trump later addressed the nation from the White House, praising the Secret Service’s quick response and calling for an end to political violence.
