This week, a woman in New Jersey suffered minor injuries when her car collided with a freight train.
The 82-year-old man said he stopped his car Wednesday afternoon when he saw flashing lights indicating a train was coming, without realizing he was on the tracks, The Patch reported.
The CSX train pushed the woman’s car, with the woman inside, a quarter of a mile before the locomotive stopped.

Miraculously, the woman survived with only a minor leg injury, according to the outlet. He was taken to a local hospital.
The incident occurred around 14:00 in South Brunswick.

In photos shared by the South Brunswick Police Department, the gray four-door sedan was seen vertically along the tracks just in front of the train.
The crash caused Route 535 to be closed in both directions for hours.
