Women’s day: Kerala Postal Circle launches reel contest

Kerala Postal Department has launched a reel competition called ‘Omana Makal’ in conjunction with International Women’s Day.

The competition aims to raise awareness about Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, a financial security scheme for girls.

The competition, which will be held on Instagram and Facebook with the hashtag #OmanaMakal until March 7, invites families in the state to create and share Malayalam reels highlighting the benefits of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana.

The competition is open to families with daughters under the age of 10. Winners will receive digital certificates, cash prizes and recognition on official social media platforms.
